CME Group Names EMEA Head
CME Group has hired William Knottenbelt to head its Europe, Middle East and Africa operations.
CME Grouphas hiredWilliam Knottenbeltto head its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operations. Based in London, he will manage customer relationship development, core business development and new business opportunities across the EMEA region and work underBryan Durkin, CME group chief operating officer and managing director, products and services.
Knottenbelt, who will assume charge in mid-November, joins fromCentral Counterparty Clearingwhere he was global head. He has 30 years of experience in the European financial services industry and was also global head of futures for theRoyal Bank of Scotland.
